CLS a standard Windows program that is designed to clear the command-line window of output, then to return the user back to the prompt.

Syntax:
CLS
CLS [ /? ]

CLS Clears the screen of text, and returns to the prompt.
/? Displays the program description.


Example:

  • CLS
    The above command will clear my CMD window of any commands or output on the screen. Then it returns me to the prompt.
